Filter Based on Logged In User

Another use for the Advanced Filter is to show only entries created by the user. In our use case, this works great to show a Member Profile.
There is an option within the Advanced Filter to filter entries down to those created by the currently logged-in user as seen here:
This works great when your members are creating their own entries. But what about if you are creating their entries for them?
You can use a User Merge Tag to filter the entries by comparing a field in the View to the currently logged-in user’s data. Here is an example of what that would look like with an email address:

You can embed this View on a page and link to that page in your site’s menu with a “Your Profile” link. There your members will be able to view their profile and edit it if needed.
